OHIO Gov DeWine (R) says everyone going back to work probably not til after May 1

We hope everyone is back in business shortly, but we don't think this will peak until May 1. The only way we slow it down is with physical/social distancing.

But the real date is after vaccine availability and we should stop with the BS?

It will likely be longer, but won't be seen as ridiculously premature like Trump's Easter date. Trump is obviously pandering to his Evangelical worshippers by dangling out the Easter carrot.

Short of weeding them out and giving them their own country or shooting them towards Mars?

not only to appease his ‘Christian base’, but to make sure that when it doesn’t happen it will stoke the culture war and create more division in America that he loves so much.

He’ll say ‘they’ don’t want you to worship and his cult will have yet another reason to dig in against us (and science and common sense and etc., etc.).

My son in law...he works at a hospital where there are 20 COVID patients...probably exposed....4 at least have died....they will not test him or other employees...saying they don't have tests...wear mask/gloves/gown....keep working.

No symptoms so far...he is 28 years old...

There's no way we can go that long doing this. You'll have unrest all over the country.

By using the word "first" means they expect more

And that’s if all the current measures are effective. By my estimate, we are on pace for about 115,000 total confirmed infections and about 68,000 deaths before this burns itself out. There’s also a nightmare scenario where we do just enough to keep the number of active cases from growing, in which case we hit a sort of steady state of around 6000 deaths per day indefinitely.
