well the stuff arrived in my held mail today. I did it on line. What an odd Census more concerned about whether I was of some latin origin. I got to the part where the really wanted to know what country is my heritage from. WTF do they need this in 2020. So I put American and it was accepted.
Just saying this census is going to be worthless in 70 yrs. Now give us the 1950 census.

(2,029 posts)What possible difference could it make where our family originally came from 100 or more (maybe many more) years ago. I didn't have a lot of time so I answered the questions just to get it over with, but WTF?

(3,327 posts)I remember filling out the 2010 census, it had general questions about employment, income, and how long you have lived at your current location.

For me, all four grandparents came from Ireland, but for a lot of people in this country their ancestors came from lots of different places.
