You never went beyond the 5th grade? You never once in your life pondered starting with one penny, doubling it each sequential day, and then marveling at how much money you would have after 30 days? You don't understand the power of compound interest? You can't get a feel for an exponential curve? You can't grasp it even a tiny bit? None of you republican cabinet members or congress people took a high school math course, let alone an introduction to calculus at community college?

What is it that you assholes don't believe about the stories that are coming out of the nation's emergency departments? Do you think they are lying? Making shit up? Why do you think that?

Why are you not questioning Trump? Do you believe him? Why? Does he sound like he is telling the truth? Deep down, do you really believe him?

Do you know that you are personally at risk? Do you know you could get this thing and die? Your wives? Your husbands? Your kids and grand kids?

Do you not believe the numbers? Why? Do you think the entire fucking WORLD is lying in order to protect Trump?

Do you actually think the country can be "opened" by Easter because Trump says so? Why? What's wrong with you? What do you think will happen if everyone goes back to work while the curve is still rising? What do you think will happen if everyone goes back to work when it appears that the curve has flattened, but it is still unacceptably high? Do you think the economy will just start humming right along?

Do you see that it is mathematically possible, and perhaps likely, that if abatement is not taken seriously enough, that MILLIONS could die? Do you think it is possible that if people in Omaha are told they can go back to work, and someone in upstate NY from a town that was prematurely given the all clear, might travel to Omaha on business and end up infecting the entire state of Nebraska under the right circumstances?

Here's what I think. I don't think you Republicans are that stupid. I think your morals have taken a hike. I think you are weak and cowardly cult members. I think you don't have the balls to stand up to your wormy-brain leader. I think you don't care about anyone but yourselves, because you are binary assholes. It's either win or lose. They won’t relent until it gets so bad that they all have friends and relatives die. They won’t come around till it’s far too late to save the country from tragedy. There will be thousands of books analyzing this disaster and warning future generations. I hope America as we know it will survive. I’m not really confident we will.

One of your points that I really notice; those who don’t understand or believe math. The Republicans are the party of science denial. Things like global warming can’t be wished away but it moves slowly. The pandemic is not that slow moving. All you have to do is check the numbers every day, or weekly. I guess until someone they know actually dies they’ll be looking for “alternate facts”, something they bought into from the very beginning. As many sicken and die their focus will be to look for someone to blame. That’s about the only thing they know how to do.
