Trumpworld unloads on GOP ally as coronavirus attacks mount

Trumpworld unloads on GOP ally as coronavirus attacks mount
"Where the hell is the president’s air cover?" said one ally upset over the silence of a super PAC aligned with Trump.

Donald Trump is getting hammered by millions of dollars in Democratic campaign ads depicting his response to the coronavirus as negligent and inept.

But the main super PAC backing his reelection has been silent in response — and Trump’s political advisers are not happy about it.

In interviews, more than a half-dozen White House aides, campaign officials and other Trump allies said they felt deserted by the group, America First Action, openly questioning why it’s leaving Trump exposed on the airwaves at the most vulnerable moment of his presidency.

“There is a major vacuum on the political front right now, with the White House focused on coronavirus response and the campaign, rightly so, echoing the White House,” said Chris LaCivita, who as chief strategist of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth orchestrated the 2004 John Kerry takedown.

“With attacks coming from all over, the simple question is: Where the hell is the president’s air cover?”

Fox has lost all credibility defending this Idiot. But even it can't stand to lose lost revenue by denying facts.

except one pretty big detail.

The ad on Trump shows Trump using his own words to show how inept he is.

Maybe America First Action can't figure out how to reel that one in.

but guess what....

Some networks have figured out he's full of sh*t and out of public interest have decided not to air the pressers live.

Upside: the public doesn't get to hear him lie.
Downside: the public doesn't get to hear him lie.

There is a reason the man has been shielded from press conferences through most of his term. After at most a few minutes, he shows quite clearly just how sick an individual he is. It is a repellent spectacle. He should do more of these hours long self-exposures....

Really it's "Old Man Yelling at Clouds"

I've ordered about the helicopter rants:
Does he actually go somewhere or did his staff think this up to let him vent but not at them?

Propaganda can lose it's effect if the lies are too blatant in too short a time.

Not for the die-hards, of course, but the "path of least resistance" set it squeezes them outside the bubble.

All their bullshit about his tax cut and the economy, unemployment and even security has come tumbling down.

They are busy reformatting back to their default program of racism, xenophobia and maybe even bitching about welfare and the deficit.

Next comes the call for more tax cuts and cuts to Social Security and Medicare.
