A supplier was sitting on that many masks? What's that about? I'm not a business person (thank god) but if I had them sitting around I might call my local hospital.

Why would you hold on to so many? It costs money to park capital in massive inventory as it ages.

Time for some Congressional investigations

In two or three more weeks they would be a lot more valuable than they are today. Bidders could come from all over the world.

The masks should be confiscated and distributed for free to those that need them the most.

Now normally, the highest offices of government ARE the public sector, but a quick search of the Trump administration proves that, at this moment, the people making decisions are decidedly Pro Private, Anti Public. They found these in 48 hours. Two days. With the whole weight of the United States government behind a search, who really believes they were even looking? 2 days, guys. TWO.

I'm glad they finally decided to do the right thing, but.

How many people died while they were sitting on those masks?

I'm grateful that so many people and companies are stepping up to the plate. Our government sure isn't doing it. But just watch. Trump will find some way to take credit for this.
