Hey Braindead media: Stop running that stupid story about Louisiana's "world's fastest rate"

It was a 24 hour snapshot done by ULL a few days ago. It is no longer accurate in any way, if it ever was. That being said, the situation in Baton Rouge (where I live) is extremely serious, and in New Orleans gravely so. But continuing to run this bullshit ad nauseum does no good service for communities all over the Northern hemisphere, where people might think "at least we're not as bad off as Louisiana."

See recently updated US state rates here (scroll down for states; 0 means it hasn't been updated today):

Besides, I have relatives in FL (14) & TX (3).

I am out of fingers, and nearly toes to cross!

A dear old friend lives in Phoenix, AZ and is on steroids for auto immune deficiency syndrome. (different AIDS)
WTF are his chances now?

She's 96 and staying home, but has many health issues. My son and his kids and many other relatives are in Louisiana. We can only wait and hope.
