Meanwhile I just made a spreadsheet, and I'm seeing the U.S. deaths hitting, 10,000+ on April 2nd.

The multiplier from the day the U.S.A. hit 100 deaths until tonight's 1288 (and climbing) was 1.33x.

Flatting the cuve is critical, I know I'll be checking the numbers every day.
