A Mass Murderer: With his own words Trump describes how he kills his victims.

Trump is literally committing biological blackmail.

Praise me Governors or I will not give you the help you need to save lives. I will not take your phone calls, I'll cut off your supply chains. I will let the people of your state die.

Mr. President, I need 30,000 ventilators soon or many people will die. No, you do not need 30,000 ventilators, Let those people die.

Mr. President, we must start testing people or many people will die. No, testing will produce numbers that will hurt my chances for re-election. Let them die.

Mr. President, we need a nation wide federal response to this virus. We must shut down the entire country at once or many people will die. No, that would hurt the economy and hurt my chances for re-election. Let them die.

I weep for my country, for the people don't understand Trump is a serial killer. They don't understand he is a bigger threat to them than the virus itself.

Do what I want, Do what I say or I will let people die. That's what Trump is doing.

I do know what the final death toll of Trumps killing spree will be, it could be unimaginable.

Our only remaining recourse is that the ballot box remembers what this fool has done and thanks him accordingly by dumping - His Royal Virus.

the death toll of this one event will equal hitler if not stalin.

trump is imposing his vision of america, where the federal government has "no responsibility" anf the governors must engage in a hobbesian struggle of state vs state.

.... other medical supplies/equipment.

Larry Kudlow says that is okay. It is the "free market system" at work, where as the quest for higher profits means buyer must engage cut throat purchasing techniques which is the driver for higher prices and higher profits. This is good for the stock markets, investors, and the obscenely rich 1%.

(Yes, if you are a Fascist Hyper-Capitalist that is all fine and dandy, the mounting death toll means absolutely nothing except an avenue for potential profit.)

Just go buy a few thousand old railway wooden ties, 15 gallons of gasoline.

Then go down to the local WalMart. Rope off an area of their parking lot. Set up your ties, douse with the gasoline, then light up your bonfire.

Charge folks $100, just have folks bring their dead relatives, you cremate them right then and there. Way cheaper than a crematorium.

Give WalMart a kickback for the use of their parking lot for your traveling on site BBQ.

You'll make millions.

Between 160 million and 214 million people in the United States could be infected over the course of the epidemic, according to a projection that encompasses the range of the four scenarios. That could last months or even over a year, with infections concentrated in shorter periods, staggered across time in different communities, experts said. As many as 200,000 to 1.7* million people could die.

And, the calculations based on the C.D.C.’s scenarios suggested, 2.4 million to 21 million people in the United States could require hospitalization, potentially crushing the nation’s medical system, which has only about 925,000 staffed hospital beds. Fewer than a tenth of those are for people who are critically ill.

* I figured it at 3,960,000 dead

Hopefully they will find a treatment soon, that does not cure the virus, but helps people cope with the virus. If not, we will have to wait for a vaccine and that won't happen until next year. If that happens the death toll, economic toll will be unimaginable.

As Rachel Maddow pointed out in her tweet yesterday, Donald Trump has displayed to the nation in so many clear ways how unfit and outright useless he is to lead America through this crisis. He needs to get out of the way and allow real leaders to lead. Right now he is holding a photo op and reading a speech others wrote for him, which unravels into incoherent babble, and meaningless self-congratulations, meaningless declarations. The reality is the more he talks the more people will die. His words ring hollow to the nation.

We all know what needs to be done. Pence and the Cabinet could remove him now, but they refuse, and allow the situation to escalate and doom more and more Americans to early deaths. When its time to count the corpses, this Vice President and Cabinet will be covered in their blood.
