My theory why Trump picked Easter to declare the Virus over:

1. The obvious reason: To protect his ass. He has to be re-elected to avoid being put on trial in New York State. To be re-elected, he can't have an economy worse than Herbert Hoover. Put people back to work and get things humming again.

2. The not so obvious reason: If parishioners are home, churches can't pass the basket. And the big evangelical churches count on Easter and Christmas for their big hauls. Closed churches means a big loss of income. Trump is trying to make Easter a national holiday that is equated with Thanksgiving, with thanks to God and Jesus for sparing lives (so far).
