My son is coming up from NYC to do my food shopping today. I wonder if he will be stopped and

asked why he is coming.

He has an official badge, as a prosecutor in the Brooklyn DA's office. I've seen it and thought at the time it was cool because it's an actual badge, with the pointed star. I also thought it was kinda funny, but it might help him if he is stopped and asked what his business was in CT.

He won't come in. I take the groceries at the door. He did this last week and I think it is wise. He wears gloves. I wear gloves getting the groceries and wipe down the counters after putting away the groceries.

I guess this is our new normal.

Left them outside the door and called her cell phone

I wiped them down before she delivered them.

My daughter doesn't have a car and has been fighting a skin condition.

A dear 82 year old friend is in long term care. Emailed and called a week ago to find out how we can get her care packages. No response yet. I could drop something off on the way home from the grocery store.

Those who are able should phone around to those vulnerable to see if you can help get them supplies.

I placed two separate orders with different vendors for masks in January on Amazon. Neither arrived. A friend an hour drive away got four for us (one each). Two hour drive to pick them up and come back. At least there wasn't much traffic.

We're hunkered down.

This is the new normal.
