Italy coronavirus deaths rise by 756 (second successive daily fall)

ROME, March 29 (Reuters) - The death toll from an outbreak of coronavirus in Italy climbed by 756 to 10,779, the Civil Protection Agency said on Sunday, the second successive fall in the daily rate.

The number of fatalities, by far the highest of any country in the world, account for more than a third of all deaths from the infectious virus worldwide.

Italy's largest daily toll was registered on Friday, when 919 people died. There were 889 deaths on Saturday.

The total number of confirmed cases in Italy rose on Sunday to 97,689 from a previous 92,472, the lowest daily rise in new cases since Wednesday.

2 days of lower deaths, then Friday went up a couple hundred? It may just be flat but some people are lasting another 12 or 24 hours and it hits the constant 3 day average?

Some plus/minus daily, but one could draw a pretty good fit line for the last six points.
Not enough data points to draw a conclusion, though.
I've always followed the old joke "A statistician counts 1, 2, 3,...29, 30, infinity.". So, I'm always looking for 30 days in a time sequence.

Still no confidence in the numbers either way. You would think that the rate must eventually fall but who knows?

Almost half of america’s Deaths in one 13 mile city. Incredible. I thought about families not knowing if their love ones are alive or not. That’s chilling.
