I just finished a 600 page book and starting another. I try to get out and walk a couple miles a day. Spending a lot of time on the internet (a lot on DU). Anyone else check your account page? I’ve posted so much in the last 3 months, more than ever before. It helps. All in all it hasn’t been too bad yet. I’m kind of a loner anyway. Another month or two it’s going to start getting rough.

1. I'm pushing three weeks and my state just went to

the most drastic restrictions this past week. We've been on notice and having restrictions but they've been increasing each week since the 6th or 7th.

2. As long as

we've got electricity and water, we'll be fine. It's starting to get to the hot and/or humid stage here in SC, so we are glad for air conditioning. It might have been good luck that our HVAC system broke down last year, so that we could replace it at that time. Trying to get that work done now might be iffy at best.

3. This would have been a month of isolation for me

if I hadn't had to take my 13-year old Golden to the vet for what turned out to be urgent - and life-saving - surgery four days into my isolation.

I guess I took it really seriously, because I had been buying a little extra of bleach, detergent, white vinegar and other things that are now hard to get. I think I started that about six weeks ago.

I'm not usually a nervous Nellie, but I guess that Girl Scout motto really stuck with me.
