I posted this on March 20th, and I think it bears repeating. As I said, the White House Press Corps, with few exceptions, are a self-serving bunch only interested in preserving their seat at press conferences.

.... with a few exceptions are afraid to ask the hard questions because they might get expelled. In my opinion, that is a chickenshit way to conduct oneself. If all you ask are the easy questions, what is the point in being there. Ask the questions that will make him sweat, and if you are expelled, then at least you got your shot in, and your dignity is preserved. It will reflect a hundred times more negatively on him than on the press. Just once, I would like to see a journalist publicly call him a liar when he actually lies in public. We all watch the new shows where the host will say, " Trump stated such and such, and that was a lie." Guess what? it did not become a lie when it aired on a news show. It became a lie the moment it came out of his mouth.
