I think Dr. Fauci didn't nauance anything today, and wanted his message to be very clear that a lot

of people could get ill and die if we don't flatten the cure, and to do that takes some time

There have been too many false messages coming out from trump and his administration, and he finally put the breaks on that

The press is putting the "take away" from trump's press conference as the social distancing was extended until the end of April, but the real take away in my view was that Dr. Fauci said without ambiguity if we don't take this seriously, a lot of folks will get sick and die

It will be interesting to see if fox backs away from their distortion and lies regarding the health crisis

I wonder if Newscorp's staff and the staffs of their affiliates are as reckless with their daily habits as the science-free dogma they've transmitted to the public. If so, they're going to have a lot of sick people and perhaps Murdoch might finally be forced to change the tone of their messaging.

Same question applies to right-wing talk radio facilities.

Thanks for the update on Dr. Fauci's seriousness and tone of message.

Just that many many more will die without it.

like that would be ok with the trumpVirus.

I just read on another thread that fox is changing its tune and they had a Gov Cuomo briefing on there. People were speculating they were probably losing viewers to the reality stations.

There's a lot of scenarios between barely noticeable symptoms and death, and one of them is lung damage which will require medical attention and impaired function for a long time.

any air time. All he does is lie to puff up his ego. At a time like his we need facts not Trump lies.
