https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/Two latest polls are a Rasmussen at 45% adjusts to 39% for Silver. And a brand new Yougov poll at 40%. Harris Poll has him at 48-52 though. When you're most favorable outliers still have you at a negative rating you're aren't doing well.
Also, still getting beat by Biden head to head in every poll.

(16,616 posts)The alleged Trump popularity polls have been so depressing.
They just add insult to injury.

(19,095 posts)Presidents typically see a big approval bump in a time of crisis. Trump has seen a tiny one. If we come out of this in the Summer and he's still well below 50% that's a disaster for him.

(38,515 posts)Not even close, Trump.
Lock him up.
(6,939 posts)... it might cost him the EC votes he needs + Pennsylvania in for JB = buh-bye drumph.

(29,721 posts)gene pool cleansing as well. Whatever it is, it's tragic and although we all die, this is sad for so many people everywhere.

(7,508 posts)There were several bullshit polls out. When Fox poll showed him losing that was the ballgame. Lets have an election today.

(8,059 posts)The whole Ukraine thing will be a major investigation....right here in the middle of the epidemic...they will drag Biden through made-up-mud so bad half the voters are going to want to stay home.
We are dealing with pure evil here, and pure evil knows no bounds.

(82,383 posts)Though the media probably won't pay as much attention.
If he gets into Ukraine/Hunter, well his actions on that are what he was impeached for.

(19,095 posts)Still beating him, even in outlier polls like this.

(15,465 posts)I personal think it'll be a close election. Probably no landslides, although we should win by one.
Johnny2X2X
(19,095 posts)I think Biden wins by 4-5 points.
Here's the thing, if the election for Bush would have been 7 months after 9/11 he would have won by 15 points. For Trump to still be losing is pretty remarkable.
Polybius
(15,465 posts)However, we could lose if Biden wins by 2 points. If I recall, Hillary won by about 2 and lost the EC.
Imagine if the presidential election was in November 2001? Bush might have won 49 states.

(38,187 posts)Even fewer people approving of him is still a mystery to me. Far too many people are truly fucking stupid.

(13,428 posts)If we do not approach the worst case scenarios of 2+ million dead, he will likely brag that his actions prevented the massive death tool that some feared. Even if we exceed 100,000 deaths (which seems almost certain), he will spin that as a win - and people will believe him. He lies about the past and will magnify anything if he it can make him seem competent.

(14,021 posts)Most people have Trumps number. The exception is his base who will never abandon him. His lowest approval rating was 37% for a while in 2017. I wouldnt be surprised if it hit that number again before all is said and done.

(36,926 posts)You'd think he would have learned that by now, but nooooo. He loves the sound of his words so much, just can't help himself.

(493 posts)Check out Bitecofer's electoral college predictions. Of course, there's an eternity between now and November, but her predictions were spot on in 2018.

(842 posts)Throughout his term his approval rating sticks in the forties.
I'll be very happy when we can dump trump the incompetent chump.
