... if we can do the same thing between KS and MO. The difference in numbers (and the handling of the situation) is striking. KS - Democratic Governor - relatively low numbers. MO - Republican Governor - going through the roof.

Saying you can't go from state to state is like saying you can't go from town to town in a state or from block to block in a town.

Once we start talking freedom of movement and assembly, things start going wobbly and the question is, "What's the pressing government interest?" and "what's the limit on the infringement on constitutional liberties?"

We've answered the first one in spades: "To save lives." All kinds of constitutional violations promoted in the interest of that.

Then there's "what's the limit?" That we're working on. We've banned meetings of more than 10 people--with some defending birthday parties but not churches, because apparently one's in the constitution. We've told people just out and about they can be cited for not having a government-approved purpose.
