My older brother turned 78 yesterday. Both he and his wife have health issues.
His daughter now does their grocery shopping for them.
She brings the groceries to his house and puts them in the bed of his pickup truck.
After she drives away, he brings the bags into the house.
After putting the stuff away, he scrubs his hands well with soap and water.
