slowly creeping closer to home...
I'm in Austin. Yesterday, my GF found out that her former sister in law got the bug. 
They are very close. the sister in law is a hospital coordinator in Penn. Far away from us, but very close to home. SIL is/was fighting the good fight to keep everything running at the hospital. trying to get supplies where there was none. Now, a very important cog in the hospital machinery that keeps it running is out.
Here in Texas, the predictions are we are to "peek" (what ever that means these days) in about a week and a half.
From a far, I see the tide rising and it's truly beginning to scare the ever loving shit out of me.
I haven't left my house now in 3 weeks. My GF: a month. it's really hard to say, if we'll still be safe a month from now.
