How my Congress Creep (DesJarlais R-TN) is wasting our tax money

My fourth district rep, Scott DesJarlais, is a Norquist acquisition; his campaign was financed by that "no tax" sociopath.

Today, for the second time in as many months, I found in my mailbox a four-color, foldout "Constituent Survey" "prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense" to benefit DesJarlais. Our tax money funds this blatant campaign material.

(I want to know what we are paying for these bogus "surveys.&quot

Like the last one, this brochure is full of nothing but propaganda. The "2011 Constituent Survey" (which I received today - hey, Scummy Scottie, it's fucking 2012) has many large, lush photos of white people. And ONLY white people.

Apparently, DesJarlais has no Black or Hispanic constituents, even though I have friends in our district who are Black and Hispanic. DesJarlais seems to think only white people live here, or he really doesn't want to put anyone but Caucasians on his mailings, so as not to offend the racists who elected him. Or he just plain does not give a shit about anyone but Caucasians.

He brags in his "survey" in very large print about his votes against Obama's health care law, against raising the debt limit, against unions.

In very small print, he asks a bunch of leading questions. He urges us to call him, but fails to give the Congressional switchboard 800 number, because we can pay for his propaganda, but he doesn't want any poor people calling him back to ask what he's costing the American taxpayer with his "surveys."

And we need to use our own stamps to send him back his biased, inane "survey."

Thanks, DesJarlais. We don't have jobs or dental care or educational opportunities up here in Appalachia, but by Gawd we have nice full color brochures of white people smiling because you are so keen.

This is what you do with tax money: promote yourself. Yay you.

DesJarlais, you make me sick, you Norquist tit-sucking, greedy ass, racist pig.

You obstruct any job creation but you can make us pay for this self-promotion shit. You disgust me.

That is all.

My Congress critter, (Kenny Marchant - TX), sends us a glossy magazine every quarter on his franking privilege touting what he has done to stop the Obama agenda and declaring him a socialist.

Even worse though is that my Repuglican state rep sends out ads such as one of a "colored" felon in an orange jumpsuit behind bars indicating that "this person" won't be voting for him this election. It may be his own campaign money, but the underlying message is despicable.

This fool, DesJarlais, knows there are very, very poor Appalachians in his district. He must know there are people of all races living here.

It's not 1872, for FSM's sake.

It's like he's kicking them all in the teeth hoping the old and the wholesome young whities will keep him in his cush office. He's done NOTHING for this state. NOTHING. It's all for his buddy Grover.

And he's using our tax money for the shoes with which to kick us.

And that is one of the reasons your congressman (and everyone else's) keeps getting re-elected over and over and...

They also have rather sizable staffs (at our expense) both in D.C. and back home. These staffers ensure that your rep is seen as effective, well-liked and the guy who keeps the bacon in your frying pan.

Don't want to raise the deficit, DesJarlais? Then introduce a bill wherein all you Congress Cretins lose that "perk." Talk about your wasteful spending.

I hope in 2012 that Tennesseans wake the hell up and elect some reps who actually care about ALL the people of Tennessee. I am sick of the leeches in Federal government, like DesJarlais, who make pledges to sociopaths like Norquist rather than to the people in their districts.

I am sick of the lazy, do-nothing, elitist Republicans in Congress acting like they know anything about hard work or sacrifice.

I knew this guy would be a waste of tax dollars, an elitist who works for the 1%, and he has done nothing but prove it.
