Vice President Mike Pence and White House coronavirus task force members will hold a conference call with House Democrats on Wednesday to provide an update and field questions about the U.S.
response to the pandemic.
The White House team will update the Democrats on multiple facets of the response effort, including the status of supplies and supply chains, a source familiar with the task force told CNBC.
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci and coronavirus response coordinator Deborah Birx are also set to attend the phone conference, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
