Did Trump get the hydroxychloroquine at the beginning of this and does works? He knows it and he plans to use this to win the election? Putin concocted the scheme? Hows that for the lowest he could possibly go?
What is the real story?
Is he just clueless or is he purposefully malevolent?
His actions are just too strange.

(65,042 posts)He has $ in a fund that has that stock. He doesn't control that stock, and it's only a minor fraction of the fund.
Besides that, what evidence exists he actually knows anything about making money through investing?
He could have invested daddy's $ with a professional investor and been richer than he even pretended to be.
No, I don't trust him one whit, but in the case he's just babbling.
Last, there is more than one company that makes it, and many who could gear up in 48 to 72 hours.

(38,187 posts)According to what some have theorized when I asked if he is just immune, it could be just lots of testing of those around him and serious Secret Service protection keeping him from getting it, despite being around lots of did test positive.
When it comes to the lowest he could possibly go, remember he is a Republican and we are Democrats. There is no low we can imagine that would come close to just how low he will go. They are always miles ahead of us when it comes to lows they will go. We cannot even imagine lows they have already gone, that we just haven't heard about yet.
Or, I should be more specific and say, that most haven't heard about yet. If you could see how both Conservative Democrats and Republicans act and run things where I live, the depths of depravity in how they treat citizens who do not match their extremist Christian Identity movement beliefs, you would be stunned. That is my home county. Various other counties around this county are not as extreme, but still no walk in the park.
Rural areas are where Republicans and Conservative Democrats let their hair down and do whatever they please. Those of us who do not agree with how they run things become targets. It's a nightmare I cannot even begin to help anyone from outside this area understand.

(11,415 posts)first campaign, I thought that was his lowest. Then he just kept doing more and more disgusting things and his followers supported and pushed their own. It's beyond belief.
Could he have actually done this? From past reference. I say most probably.
He should not have national power.

(38,187 posts)Most call them Dixiecrats. More accurately, look up the Christian Identity movement and read about that. That will give you some context. They don't get listed as a hate group, but they believe exactly the same viewpoints AND support the same terrorist violence against anyone who is gay or goes out with someone of a difference race. Same crap, different political party.
The only thing they vote on different than Republicans is Social Security. All social issues are still exactly the same as Republicans and most fiscal issues are exactly the same as Republicans with Social Security being their only Democratic votes. On abosolutely everything else, they vote with the Republicans.

(7,296 posts)Based solely on my own observations of him and listening carefully to his words.
I believe that he took it, a few weeks ago, when he was appearing really ragged. It may have been a Sunday night, not sure, but before he was doing these daily briefings. When he sat and read that prepared statement.
I was sure he was getting ill. Again, based only on my own observation. I could be totally wrong.
But I kept waiting for him to get sicker, but instead, he came out touting HCQ, and then I knew.
It's a damn shame that he has politicized a drug, one which might actually be helpful *in some situations*. It infuriates me to no end.
Just all my opinion. And I acknowledge that I may be completely wrong.

Is there any comparison in history that has the brain washing onslaught of FOX, the bizarre lamentations and adoration of right wing, sure of themselves, common people backing a con man?
