Supporters turn on Trump for ‘flat-out lying’ about coronavirus: ‘He’s got no idea what the hell he’s doing’

President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus crisis has been the breaking point for some of his fans in rural Virginia.

A dozen seafood and agricultural workers in the state’s Northern Neck peninsula — where Trump beat Hillary Clinton by nearly 10 points in 2016 — expressed frustration to the Insider website over the president’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“A few weeks ago I could ignore the parts of his personality I didn’t like,” said Cliff, a 25-year Chesapeake Bay waterman. “That’s over. I don’t believe anything he’s saying now.”

People who have taken up to NOW to figure out what kind of bad news Trump is do not instill great confidence in me. That's like taking three and a half years to figure out that 2 + 2 = 4.

How many of them grumble now, but will love Trump again as soon as they get a $600 check in the mail?

but, if 1, 2 or 3 of them out of every 100 stay home, vote 3rd party or vote Biden, it's a huge drop off for Trump. The 2016 election was so close that a 1, 2 or 3 point swing would have turned a narrow loss for Clinton into a landslide win.

he is the candidate who gives us the best shot at getting their vote, or having them sit out because they could live with him.

Right now, before 45 and Rs can go into full on slander mode, Joe is pulling numbers of white females and even white males that are really problematic for the jackass to win in November.

cheat and vulgarian the entire time he has been a public figure. You didn't just discover this two weeks ago. Fact of the matter .. you just didn't CARE about any of that, until it started landing in your back yard.

I find your sudden focus on ethical behavior ... questionable.

On the one part, it has the name of someone who lies and cheats because he is out of touch with reality and is greedy at the same time, promises to pave your local roads with gold but you know the potholes are getting worse, and stirs up feral minorities in society.
Not religious, but can pretend to be, unhappily married to wife number 3 and prefers the company of porn stars . . .
No ability in politics, and seemingly unwilling or unable to learn.

On another part, is the name of someone who hasn't done too much wrong. Well, he likes sniffing girls' hair, but who doesn't?
Freshly washed girls' hair . . . . mmmm . . . but I digress.
Married to Jill in 1977, his second marriage after his first wife, Neilia, and daughter Naomi passed away In a 1972 accident.
That's sad and definitely not seedy.
Some experience as Vice President for Obama.

The pen hovers.

Who will you choose? For me, a no brainer. But those who have no brain, may need to do some thinking first before voting.

true, from what I've heard over the last week or so.

I think that his performance at his boring and pathetic daily conference calls isn't doing a bit of good and helping to drive his numbers down, one of the reasons why I wanted to mention that these often repeated levels of support in this particular post aren't valid (the NYT in an recent article/WSJ in another). These downward trends are escalating too.

Come November when half of America is out of work that ought to sway them. Even more than the tens of thousands who will have died, unless it was a family member. That $1200 check this spring will be long gone. I can hardly believe how one man can do so much damage. And how so much of the population can be so blind.

I do get the feeling that young people, not some millennial dipstick like in the article, I guess what you’d call generation Z, are better at seeing him for what he is. I sure hope to god they do.

Granny in a coffin and they can't see her
No job
No money
No sports
Having to stay home with the wife while the other woman is pissed
The wife having to tolerate him at home 24/7

And then they'll discover who has been making money during this horrific time

Just you wait - Don the Con will soon have no where to run.
