I assume the IRS has neither the bank information for direct deposit nor an address for them to apply money to.

But if they aren’t claimed then they can use the new IRS tool on their website to put their direct deposit info in. If they filed in 2018 and got a direct deposit (and weren’t claimed on your taxes) they shouldn’t need to do anything.

14. We claimed them, but since they are adults they

don't qualify as kids. And since they didn't file they can't get money because we claimed them. Therefore the govt thinks my kids aren't worth feeding.

On top of that, they may not be eligible for unemployment. Both my kids worked on campus; neither of them were laid off- there’s just no hours to be worked currently.
