so many people experienced in life and the government were unceremoniously booted out of his administration.
He's now surrounded by idiotic sycophants and enablers who cheer on his stupidity and recklessness.
Even tho we didn't like some of those experienced people referenced above, it's obvious they at least tried to check his bizarre and ignorant impulses.
Remember that propaganda film he showed the press on Monday? While it was playing Trump had the most weird, triumphant smirk on his face. People actually convinced him (or the other way around) that this actually was a good idea.
He bombed like exploding fighter jet. And he's been flailing and lashing out even more ferociously ever since.
He just doesn't get it. He never will, no matter how many boot lickers he surrounds himself with.

That would cut down on at least the expression in rant of his megalomania, and it is quite possible he has no good memory of what he says from day to day, especially of what he says in a state of heated emotion.

(11,736 posts)That is what Trump does. Despite his apparent grandiosity, he is incredibly insecure. People who are secure in who they are and what they know (or don't know because secure people don't have to know everything), do not react to criticism or mistakes the way Trump does. President Obama made mistakes and was called out for them. He would either discuss how and why a choice was made, or he would admit to the mistake, and he was able to poke fun at himself.
President Obama was called all manner of vile, racist, and totally undeserved things. I do not remember him ever having any kind of melt down. I remember him getting irritated and raising his voice to make a point, but it was never these tantrums that Trump throws regularly. No Twitter meltdowns. President Obama didn't beef with celebrities over things they said about him.
Trump is damaged. He likely suffered Attachment injuries as a child. Likely grew up without any real affection from his mother and with criticism and cut off from dad, which is why he always needs to be the "smartest" and most powerful person even though he clearly isn't the smartest and cannot wield power effectively.
He surrounds himself with bootlickers, specifically because he cannot deal with the reality that he is mediocre at best.

(11,885 posts)All brought on from trumps failures, and policies that continue rewarding the wealthy, and stealing from the poor and middle class. He's shown he is the greatest at one thing, failing at whatever he tries to do. For doing this, calls should be made for his resignation. The worse mismanagement of a crisis in the world, costs so many lives to be lost from his incompetence. He can't spin death so good.
