Treat your citizens like adults and don't try to bullshit them. Trump doesn't really care about the citizens he is just trying to keep himself from looking weak, but failing miserably.

Hillary Clinton would have jumped all over this situation and we would likely have been doing something closer to South Korea and considering honestly being able to relax some of the restrictions in May.
