In my opinion, most of the Governors will be competent and responsible in opening the economy.

The will not follow the Pied Piper of Politics. They will open up their states when they think it is the right time. They will not be stampeded by veiled threats of "Liberate" from the White House. They understand that Donald Trump will put his political fortunes over the lives of the American people.

Also, they understand that they need to open the economy up as soon as possible but they are required to do it in such a way that a second wave of this epidemic is not created.

Some of the Governors will likely follow Trump's wishes and some people will likely die because of it. They gamble with people's lives the way some people gamble with other people's money.

1. People in the South are fucked.

Pisses me off that the sane people in these states could get killed through no fault of their own by these asswipe idiotic repugs who think it won't happen to them, only us and they are totally cool with that. Jerks flooded the beaches totally ignoring all the safety rules so the rest of us can't use it responsibly. The pavilions and picnic areas at parks are supposed to be closed, nope, not happening. We saw a kids birthday party with probably a dozen people at one of the pavilions - grrrr. We kept at least 20 ft between us and anyone else and checked on the feral kitties then got the hell out of there. We hoped to be able to walk out on the dock, but nope, not safe. Glad the feral kitties are getting fed and cared for again, but the other people there pissed me off. WTF are people so stupid?
