They believe Trump is an economic genius. They believe he created the greatest economy in our history. It's a complete fantasy and Trump knows he must keep the fantasy going. Without that fantasy, Trumps approval rating among his voters would crash.

That's why Trump is willing to kill people in order to keep the economy from crashing.

The MAGATS may have drunk the kool ade, but the rest of us have not. I’m not risking my life or the lives of my family just to spend $ at some enterprise that follows tRump’s science-denying dictae.

Those businesses will incur the costs associated with payrolls etc - not to mention a workforce getting sick with the virus - without seeing the benefits of business returning to normal, because it won’t be returning to normal any time soon. They will just go out of business sooner, with a lot of people getting sick and dying when that didn’t have to happen.
