$1/gallon? Way over in most places.
Last time oil was $18-20 per barrel, gas was .75

A lot of states have upped their gas prices in the past ten years as the prior run to $4 shows that people would and could pay a higher price.

... fuel prices is all I'm thinking and they can't get that with so many of the shale oil producers operating.
