There's no agenda. He's just totally incompetent at everything.
Putin's in trouble in his own country now.
His US agenda is irrelevant beyond interfering in November.

Trump is trying to avoid humiliation and possibly aggrandize himself. He doesn't have an "agenda" like a typical politician would have an agenda. Trump is not planning things. He doesn't have strategy beyond winning "today". If he can convince himself that he won "today" and beat back his enemies, then he wins.

People want to believe that Trump is some kind of mastermind. He is VERY VERY good at reading people and at creating the chaos that is needed to slide away from danger. He has been able to get away with things that would land A LOT of people in prison. Right now, he has a system (the GOP) that is propping him up and allowing him to continue to blunder through a situation that would have ended a Democratic Presidency.

If people are watching, he can say that they like him. He doesn't consider that people are watching to get information or watching to see him go down in flames.

Trump is so insecure that he needs constant validation.
