Here is a game that trump played at his recent briefing...

April 20th blabfest......

He bragged on two articles that praised him, naming the 2 people who had written them:
Rich Lowry and Kyle Smith. Those articles were also printed in several conservative news outlets, including the New York Post.

Lowry is Editor for The National Review, a conservative magazine created by William Buckley.

Smith also works for the National Review, thus for Lowry.

Yup.

I’m sure I’m not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, “Hey, I think she just winked at me.” And her smile. By the end, when she clearly knew she was doing well, it was so sparkling it was almost mesmerizing. It sent little starbursts through the screen and ricocheting around the living rooms of America. This is a quality that can’t be learned; it’s either something you have or you don’t, and man, she’s got it.

I do recall that he caught a well-deserved ration of crap for that.

He works for a magazine that sells 90,000 copies per issue.
By contrast, Time sells 3.1 million a week..
The daily from our county sear (city population 160,000) has 38,000 papers, and 21,000 digital subscribers PER DAY. I'd bet a $100 that if you heard the name of that paper, you'd say "Never heard of it."
He's nothing.
