If the Democrats take complete control of our government next January. I hope they do this.

Immediately remove the filibuster in the Senate and shove every progressive idea, law, right down the Republicans throats and tell them to fucking choke on it.

We cannot afford to have the Republicans abuse the filibuster like they did with Obama. We have to move on without them. It's a matter of life and death.

1. I don't know. Harry Reid did that with judges and now we're stuck with them for 40 years.

It’d be nice to put a sunset provision in just in case we lose sometime in the future.

Just as in post-WWII, a 90+ tax rate on wealthy incomes. We are in emergency times right now, for the entire economy and society. We need to move that wealth to the middle class, the working class, and desperately poor. We need that money for infrastructure projects on a massive scale, and on public education. Funding for free college education must come from the money bestowed on the wealthy through decades of tax giveaways. So far, the Dems have danced around the edges of wealth redistribution, but they must face the dilemma head-on if they are to strengthen the conditions of those below millionaire status.

I also think we will see a UBI of some form, along with low cost, but good healthcare. That’s why Republicans will push back hard this year, they know what’s coming.
