(6,448 posts)I noticed some periods in that paragraph, instead of it being a painfully long run-on sentence.

(6,960 posts)He always has been.
His entire life he has whined and moaned and someone has stepped in to rescue him when things got difficult -- eg., his father.
This is his cry, his whine for something to be a miracle to save him.
Absolutely ... it is a cry for help.

Which he is. His behavior makes his fear come true.

(9,426 posts)would be easy. Everyone else does the work, while he golfs and holds rallies. For 3 years, he got away with that, with added bonuses of the emoluments clause rejection. Money pours into his coffers. He is King of America. Then came the virus, which he ignored, but those around him did, too. Unfortunately, the people who normally would have raised the alarm had been disbanded, so the unqualified idiots in his administration did not understand the whole danger. The gop knew he was unqualified right from the start. None of them expected something such as this, so here we are. The results from having the gop smirking along with this idiot. Thousands dead, thousands hospitalized. Workplaces shuttered. Lines of citizens looking for food. THIS is ALLL on tRump and the asses in the gop. Anyone who votes for any republican is a traitor to this country. They do not care about average working people. Why is nobody looking into Kushner stockpiling PPE supplies, after hijacking the shipments? He is NOT an elected official. He is a slumlord with delusions of grandeur.

(62,415 posts)That a prayer or some crazy, crazy idea will suddenly fix any problem no matter how bad.
Seems to me that the idea of praying for a miracle rather than doing any hard work has become the stock and trade of the right in America and around the world.

(33,345 posts)Since his prime goal is to occupy media space, he needs content. Since he is a malignant narcissist, he sees no reason to be circumspect in his speech.
Whoever "Bill" is, he sure caved to President Sociopath's off-the-wall ideas. "Yes, we'll test that, sir. Great idea."

(11,648 posts)My fundy tea party cultist sister sent that transcript to me as proof that the lame stream media was distorting Dear Leaders words. Her subject line Trump never said to drink bleach. Thats just haters who only watch CNN or MSNBC. So, I responded:
Youre right, he didnt say drink it but to inject it. Also called embalming ... no response yet.
I usually respond to her idiocy with, does this excuse his two plus months of doing nothing? I think that is the crucial thing to pound on. Especially since he said, I knew it would be a pandemic before anybody.
