They may be mailing SS recipients checks instead of DD

A friend of mine who has SS direct deposit just received a check by mail. Anyone else?

I get SS DD and the IRS site info showed that a check was scheduled to be mailed on 4/24 - I got it on 4/25.

And the only thing I can find is that I had to pay the last year. This year ,2019 I received a check in the mail with a refund. This is what I am hearing from friends. Others are getting theirs in DP.

I have had it for years. Think the Government is so screwed up nothing is working. Bliionaires are getting Small business loans. Small. Businesses are not.

Bush did the same thing, then folks found they had to pay it back when they filed their taxes.

7. That's what the IRS is telling me now

I entered my DD info on the IRS site and was told the check would be deposited into that account. The next time I checked the site, it said the check would be mailed.

And praising himself with his senile signature splayed across the letter.

I ripped it up.

10. There seems to be a lot of inconsistancy about how people

are getting the money. I got mine on the 15th, at exactly the same time I got my SS deposit. A friend of mine, also on direct deposit SS, got a physical check. I forgot to ask her if she files taxes each year. I do.

12. Irs.gov said check being mailed 4/24. Had it in hand on 4/22.

SS DD, filed taxes 2018/2019 w/o banking info because I pay. No letter before, with, or after check.
