Barr Wants to Defend the Constitution? Start with Roe v. Wade

Roe V. Wade is still the law of the land. But some states--including my own state, Texas--are using COVID as an excuse to outlaw all elective abortion even the medical kind.

Attorney General Barr says he wants to take action against states that restrict people's Constitutional rights as part of their effort to curb COVID. Then he should start with those that are ignoring the law of the land and go after states that are restricting women's rights to control their own bodies.

The message is, to me, support for the AstroTurf protests specifically and a wink to his master's base.

Nobody expects a DOJ that is an extension of Trump to be for rights for real, right? If that were the case, Barr wouldn't be there and the DOJ, (or is that DOG now?) would be an unbiased department that doesn't live in Trump's voluminous chin sack.
