Empire State Plaza Last Night (photos)

I braved the rain and cold last night to check out the lights on the Corning Tower.

7. Beautiful. Hope you enjoyed your outdoor time.

Question: Would it be okay if I reposted one of your photos on Facebook with credit?

8. I don't have a problem with that

No need for credit on this particular one. I feel like more people should see that we're all in this together.

13. Me too

I lived on one of the streets between Lark and Dove. I'm outside of town now, but only a short drive away. So quiet there last night.

19. Waaaaaaay uptown on Sycamore Street.

That's where I grew up.

Edited to add: The downtown complex was built when I lived in Albany. Mayor Erastus Corning 2nd was known not to like the project. And now the big tower is named for him.

15. Capital of the world!

Much has been written and said over the last 20-odd years about these 3rd world cities - primarily in Asia - that have supposedly "eclipsed" New York.

Bullshit.
