doesn't stop. He is a one trick pony. He just keeps doing the same thing over and over again. It's the only game he knows.

He can't think. He can't reason.

A normal person would have figured out that this dog and pony show wasn't working any more. They would be able to change course. He can't.

Expecting him to change is futile.
