and the day is not over. So far the US is at 2,300+ deaths for today, the 5th highest "daily deaths" to date. Deaths across the US are going up while NYC's is still declining. Should we be opening up at this time?

Tuesday is usually the highest day of the week as many state health offices don't certify weekend deaths until late Monday or early Tuesday. That being said, this is the first decline in a Tuesday in 3 weeks, and the average weekly death rate is falling (thankfully).
