Florida fudging covid19 numbers

A reporter just appeared on Chris Cuomo's CNN show, and she said that Florida is counting ill and dead covid victims based on their permanent addresses. If they do not live permanently in Florida, they are not counted. Spring breakers are not counted; snowbirds are not counted.

This is an outrage.

So are those of the US.

We are being actively lied to by our government

If the full scope of the death rate came out it would be 100,000 already.

Can’t sell that “great job” bullshit with staggering numbers so they sweep them under the rug.

It's a complete shock. A complete cover-up.

I mean, it's exactly what they said they'd do last month. That we discussed.

It's what was reported almost 3 weeks ago. That we discussed.

It's what's on the web page that says it's the number of residents that have died. Whenever anybody goes to the FL page that announces deaths, there is it. Completely hidden in the title.

I mean, it's only been said 3 times. How are we supposed to have a clue? If announcing it three times isn't a sure sign of a cover-up, I don't know what is.

BTW, the huge coverup on some days reached 10% of the total. That's starting from 0%, it's not like it dipped down to only 10% at times.

Now, it is a problem because the public announcement doesn't comport with CDC reporting rules. But I don't know what the reports to the CDC say, and that's all the rules govern.

Notice a more egregious also not-in-any-way-a-coverup. It's unclear if FL is reported deaths as COVID-related only if they test positive or if there's a postmortem diagnosis. Some states report these numbers publicly. All are supposed to report them as such--confirmed COVID and probably COVID, but I don't know that all do. Most don't report them that way publicly.

Yoy should still maintain a legal residence elsewhere!! Th only exceptions are the old crooks who moved to Florida for the generous bankruptcy awards, and the lazzez`faire attitudes about warrants etc, that is the Florida Style.

If you look at the data, it is divided into "residents" & "non-residents."

They are ALL counted, I've seen it every single day.

For example, every day the state issues a report saying "there are X confirmed cases in Florida, which consist of Y residents & Z non-residents."

What that "reporter" said is untrue. I know. I'm here. I've been following the numbers closely every day.

One story here: https://www.tampabay.com/news/health/2020/04/29/florida-medical-examiners-were-releasing-coronavirus-death-data-the-state-made-them-stop.

If they were motivated by public health concerns instead of seeking political advantage, they would be gathering and publishing excess mortality statistics to provide realistic context.
