1. NO. Actually, Republicans are the ones using Covid-19 for their own purposes.

Trump took $400 million from the WHO to give to Franklin Graham and other creeps like him and Falwell, grifters who leech taxpayers' money while paying no taxes themselves.

Every time a televangelist or other uber right wing Christian type points their finger at someone and makes wild claims like that, start checking their closet and their recent history. They are always trying to divert attention away from something they just did wrong. It never fails.

Just as you have pointed out, (and regarding the "welfare" Red states) they try to deflect attention by making false statements and via projections. I guess their "base" only hears that and does not investigation into the truth of it.

Meanwhile, when is that going to become old hat, called out, and useless? It is so superficial and very damaging. Falsehoods and blatant lies are proving to be more than political skullduggery, they are becoming hazardous to our health.
