Tara Reade says she didn't explicitly accuse Biden of assault in Senate report

Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who alleges Joe Biden sexually assaulted her 27 years ago, has said she filed a limited report with a congressional personnel office that did not explicitly accuse him of sexual assault or harassment.

“I remember talking about him wanting me to serve drinks because he liked my legs and thought I was pretty and it made me uncomfortable,” Reade said. “I know that I was too scared to write about the sexual assault.”

Reade said she described her issues with Biden, then a senator from Delaware, but “the main word I used – and I know I didn’t use sexual harassment – I used ‘uncomfortable’. And I remember ‘retaliation’.”

Reade described the report after the AP discovered transcripts and notes from interviews with Reade last year in which she said she “chickened out” after going to the Senate personnel office.

8. God this is so fucking terrible

We have a President who has dozens of these types of claims against him (including the rape of a 13 year old at an Epstein party). The media danced around this with kid gloves back in 2016. Now they don't discuss Trump's assault claims at all. With her inconsistencies, wacko sexual innuendo statements about Putin, disdain for the Mueller report, etc., it seems to me Reade is not telling the truth and she might have some political agenda or mental health issues. She is doing no favor for those that have truly experienced this horrible type of crime. The fringe of the Democratic Party are not happy about any moderate. The fringe of the Republican Party has become the norm and base of the GOP. I do not want the same for my party. Krystal Ball, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, Cenk Uygur, Joe Rogan etc. would rather see trump re-elected than Biden win the 2020 election. They are the same to me as the 15 or so neighbors of mine within a two mile radius who are proudly flying their trump 2020 flags. Fuck them all! Sorry for the rant.
