Joe Biden wasn't my first choice but either we believe in the sanctity of the ballot or we don't. Biden was well ahead in votes and delegates when the remaining states suspended their primaries. In fact voters exposed themselves to a deadly virus in Wisconsin to come out to vote for him, giving him a thirty point lead over his closest challenger. Reade's story has fallen apart. The contemporaneous witness Ms. Breunig alludes to was told of the alleged assault years after it allegedly occurred and shared it with the press at Reade's urging, after her memory was refreshed. Her brother changed his account too. The mother spoke to Larry King over some vague workplace issues.

As to the suggestion that a committee should rummage through Joe Biden's senate papers where personnel records aren't even held is code for "her e-mails".

There are no re-dos. If states that cancelled their primaries want to reschedule them in the midst of a pandemic so be it. Biden will win them.

And it won't work. We shouldn't even be talking about this as there is and has been shown that there is no there there.

debunk as to VP Biden. Tate is another story.

That is my opinion and I'm sticking with it.

This is a Bernie supporter doing her best to attack and damage the presumptive Democratic nominee.
She uses some questionable logic to excuse the glaring contradictions coupled with apparently deliberate vagueness regarding the claims and supposed evidence, some of those kept intentionally short when they were mentioned in order to bolster Reade's claim.
I know it's just an opinion piece but it's extremely disingenuous in its presentation as the whole piece was tailored to achieve a specific goal and not about a fair discussion of the case.

So why didn't Moscow Mitch take action?

Back in 1993 when the alleged incident took place, Mitch McConnell was serving on the Senate Ethics Committee and looking into senators that were sexually harassing senate staffers (like Oregon's Bob Packwood). Reade stated that she filed a report and told three senate staffers what happened - this was on McConnell watch, right? I didn't hear him say anything then and I certainly don't hear him saying anything now. I would imagine that his version of "taking action" would be screaming from the rooftops "Joe did it!"
