A sign of how things have changed

The supermarket we go to in upstate New York is fantastic. They have a great butcher section, their produce is always fresh and plentiful, the dairy case has great variety, the deli is awesome and the rest of the store has everything else you could need. The manager is a friendly gentleman and all of the employees-- who are owners of the store-- are helpful and friendly, too.

There used to be a sign at the entrance telling customers to check their backpacks at the service desk (to prevent theft) and to remove any hoods (to allow identification).

Now the sign says that face-coverings are required.

Times change.
