We have no idea how much the COVID19 pandemic is affecting Trump. And how he suffers.

No, I do not mean the lives lost, or how the quarantine affects us all.

I mean that with the quarantine, he cannot stay at his hotels, and at his golf courses every week.

I mean that he cannot steal from the US taxpayers by overcharging for the Secret Service and other Government officials who stay at his properties.

I mean that he cannot steal money be insisting that foreign Government officials stay at his properties.

I mean that his children cannot import their Chinese manufactured goods to sell in the US.

I mean the psychological suffering he endures by being unable to attend his rallies of the faithful.

That suffering.

He rages. He grasps. He sneers. He self deludes. He does everything he does in order no to have to suffer. To realize he’s flawed and mortal and has failed many, many times. He can’t afford to know those things. That way lies madness. And for us the cure truly is worse than the disease.

His rage must be enormous. We know how he sees himself, and one can hope that he knows how the world sees him.

right, this must be his version of hell.

He must be uncomfortable and angry and agitated. And we all know that his toddler mind can't deal with that.

The Lincoln Project has the right idea. We should be poking at him ceaselessly during this time. We should be doing our best to push him over the edge so he won't want to be re-elected. We should be smothering him with ads and articles about his incompetence and his failure and how much people hate him.

But we also know that many GOP voters will still vote for him. That too, is scary.

And we also know that his enablers in the GOP leadership are complicit in all of this.

We shouldn't let up on our criticism of him and presenting truth to counter every lie.

He probably feels like this is the worst thing that could happen to the world, but only because of how it affects him.
