Have you noticed how Brian Williams starts his 11 pm show now every night?
Tonight:
"Good evening, it's day 1203 of the Trump administration. 181 days to go to our next presidential election."
(Numbers are updated daily, of course.)
It's like the old "America held Hostage" open on Nightline during the Iran hostage crisis.

(6,245 posts)was, in small part, responsible for Jimmy Carter's loss in the 1980 presidential election. Not to mention a bunch of Republican dirty tricks, like the Republican campaign's negotiation with Iran to release the hostages after Reagan took the oath of office. Republican dirty tricks have a long and disgusting history. . . but I digress.
Let's hope Brian Williams' intro has the same effect on Trump as Nightline's effect on President Carter.

(40,153 posts)that he can barely say his name without spitting.
It makes me forgive Williams for all the dumb things he has said in the past, especially when Bush II was president.
