Are Hospitals Paid More to Treat Coronavirus Cases?

I believe I have seen at least two statements that hospitals are paid more to treat Coronavirus cases than just regular people. Is it true that hospitals are paid more to treat Coronavirus cases than regular cases? I can see a legitimate reason why hospitals would be paid more to treat Coronavirus cases than regular cases; however, if it is true that hospitals are paid more to treat Coronavirus cases than regular cases can someone tell me why the hospitals are paid more.

I am not a conspiracy theorist. I am just trying to get the facts.

George Soros, Bill Gates, and Hillary Clinton are in on it, they are using the proceeds to establish a chain of pizza restaurants with 5G wifi hotspots at critical locations where they are spraying COVID-19 in chemtrails.

3. Hospitals are losing massive amounts of money right now

one system I know is losing $100m a month and has already had one round of layoffs prepping for more. Prior to this they were very very profitable.

Hospitals make MUCH MUCH more on elective surgery which is suspended right now.

C19 is basically a bed and maybe a vent.

4. From what I understand, hospitals make their money on the non-essential cases

They are not doing elective surgeries and losing tons of money.
I’m wondering how much the inscos are going to be reimbursing for treatment? How much are the families going to have to pay for severely debilitated relatives?
I remember that guy back in January/February who, on his own initiative, got tested. He got a bill for over $3,000 which his insco refused to pay. How many of those situations are going to show up?

5. Yes they are. They are also paid more for some other kinds of admissions.

I saw an excellent post on my FB feed about this earlier today, and of course it is now nowhere to be seen. It was by a doctor who listed at least four or five other illnesses that trigger a higher payout.

And given that most Coronavirus patients who are actually admitted are extremely sick and take a lot of resources to treat, of course they should be paid more.

Yeah, I somewhat figured that if hospital were being paid more to treat Coronavirus patients it might just be due to the fact that is cost more to treat Coronavirus patients.

6. The conspiracy theory is that hospitals are paid more for Covid-19 DEATHS.

Trumpbaggers are promoting the idea that hospitals are paid more for falsely listing Covid-19 as the cause of death. Therein lies the kook factor: Hospitals are cooking their books by falsely blaming Covid-19 for deaths because some secret cabal of Trillionaire Pedophiles is willing secretly pay them extra . . . so Trump will look bad.

Covid-19 related treatments are predictably higher given the complications and emergency response. As usual, the truth is closer to reason: https://www.medicaleconomics.com/news/federal-government-says-all-covid-19-testing-treatment-will-be-free

7. I understand that govt is helping with those bills and yes, RW using this to say numbers inflated

That is why we are hearing an escalation from the right and Trump that the numbers inflated. I heard this go out last week. Of course makes sense with hospitals being reimbursed here, but then you have states actively keeping numbers and testing down too, in our face, like Florida not letting medical examiner numbers to be used.
