4. I was also just reminded
That Flynn's case is still on Judge Sullivan's docket and even if DOJ stops prosecuting the case, that doesn't mean the judge will automatically drop it. Right?

6. But SDNY is still Federal
State charges could come from Leticia James (AG of New York) herself!
Plus, as I mentioned above, Judge Sullivan may still have some say about whether the DOJ will be allowed to just let Flynn out without consequences. |

5. No. Flynn is trivial, we should forget him
They are building support rallying behind him. We are better off letting him fade away.

10. will you say the same thing when Trump brings him back into a high, powerful Executive Branch role?
Trump has said for the last week he wants to bring him back (so he knew what Traitor Barr was up to).
Flynn is a completely bought and paid for Russian asset, just like Rump, McTurtle, Barr, etc etc etc. |

11. Yes, if Trump promotes him it tarnishes Trump
There is nothing to gain from putting Flynn in the news. Other stories are more valuable to discuss. Trump manipulates media attention to keep it away from what hurts him. We shouldn’t play along with his efforts to distract us from the big story: Trump did not protect us from the virus. Any other story moves attention away from the big important story, Trump’s failure to protect us. You are falling into Trump’s trap by discussing Flynn. Forget him.

13. I am falling into no trap. I can walk and chew gum at the same time. Flynn's literally a treasonous
actor, and it is insane that he would end up (regardless of duration) back in the government at the highest levels.

14. TV can not do two things at once
You can walk and chew gum at the same time. TV can not talk about Trump failing to protect us and talk about Flynn at the same time. A person on the radio can not say Trump failed us and say Flynn deserves jail at the same time. I want TV to talk about Trump failing us all the time, I want radio talking about Trump failing us all the time. I want people to have this thought all the time: Trump failed us. I guarantee you Trump knows how important this is. Trump knows that every minute TV talks about Flynn is a victory for him. You must understand how Trump manipulates news to keep it away from stories which damage him. He creates controversy on purpose to reduce time focusing on what harms him in public opinion. When you don’t talk about Trumps failure to protect us, when you chew gum instead of walking, Trump wins. Don’t let him win. Tipper Gore was a master of this in the 1992 election. No matter what question she was asked she brought it back to the bad economy. How old are your children? 8, 10, 12 and because they have their lives ahead of them I know how important it is for us to fix this bad economy. Tipper Gore understood how politics works. You need to know how it works too. The only thing we should talk about is how Trump failed to protect us from the virus. Any other topic is a loss for us.

21. Trump will defend against failing to fight the virus by blaming China
I think we need to understand our enemy. I think Trump won by controlling what was discussed on tv, radio, on line. We have to stop him from doing that. We must keep conversations about how Trump failed to protect us from the virus. China did not force him to fuck up here. He fucked up here all on his own.

17. His charges stem from an interview he had with the FBI, in the White House.
There's ZERO chance a state can now indict him for anything related to that. Maybe they can dig up some tax fraud case or something, but that would require an investigation.
As far as I know, he lived in Virginia, so the state that has the most chance to have any type of case against him will be VA. Flynn is small potatoes, and he's already told everyone everything he knows. |

20. No and he was caught early in his shenanigans so he had time to report his foreign payments
He had just begun trying to make money from shady foreign deals when he was caught up in Russia probe, so he had time to file proper foreign agent registration and make sure his tax returns were complete.
