I want Harris to ask him if sacrificing his dignity, his professionalism, his intellect, his self respect and the respect the world scientific community and possibly now his life was worth downplaying Trump's sociopathy for stage time...I want Harris to follow up that question with why, when Trump shoved him aside, demeaned him and humiliated him, he didn't immediately take to the media and loudly counter every dangerous utterance out of Trump's mouth, and finally, why did he think "don't drink bleach and and inject or ingest disinfectant" was a good enough public service directive...so absolutely I want her to grill him...he deserves to be in the hot seat...

He's a medical professional doing his job. His opinions on Trump's behavior are irrelevant.

This will be an unusual hearing. The usual social dynamics might not apply. If they are in fact sitting alone in rooms without the ability to egg each other on, there might be some reluctance to attack Fauci in strong terms. Scott and Paul are the two I worry about. They might come out strong but back down as the questioning goes on, because it's going to be so difficult to unnerve Fauci. He's a rock. He's a person of strong conviction, lifelong experience and he's just there to disseminate factual information.
