https://www.rawstory.com/2020/05/watch-fight-breaks-out-among-michigan-anti-lockdown-protesters-over-noose-display/Tensions are mounting among protesters at the Michigan State Capitol as disagreements about protest messaging pop up. In one particular incident reported by The Detroit News, two protesters fought over a display featuring a doll with a noose around its neck and the American flag.
According to protester Katie Rogowicz, the noose display was objected to because it someone thought it falsely portrayed the protesters as violent. One person snatched the flag away from the display and was pushed to the ground when the person behind the display tried to retrieve it.
We don't need to do anything about these yahoos. They will destroy themselves.

The couple later posted on Facebook that a man carrying a pipe-wrench made intimidating comments toward them after they asked the group to keep their distance."

(32,754 posts)A FiveThirtyEight analysis found that most governors who were polled during the pandemic saw a bump. Those who instituted some of the strictest measures like Cuomo, Californias Gavin Newsom, Ohios Mike DeWine and Michigans Gretchen Whitmer have enjoyed the largest increases. Other governors who took strong measures like Marylands Larry Hogan, Massachusetts Charlie Baker saw more modest bumps, but mostly because they were already wildly popular before the pandemic.

(22,205 posts)idiotic protesters will unfortunately pay, some w/ their lives and even worse, with the nature of how infectious the CV is, their friends, family, coworkers, etc. all will pay too, for their reckless and childish behavior. I wonder how their families will react knowing that that some of their family members are engaging in this kind of behavior during a time such as this (the CV) and then coming home to dinner, etc.? I recall that a father locked his son out of the house when he got back from FL spring break. I wonder what's happened in that scenario?
