the first day on the job site. In due time, the builders will need lumber and bricks and pipe and wiring and, eventually, shingles and guttering. But, before any of this can be used, you need a foundation. The best carpenters and plumbers and electricians in the land will be wasting their time and talent if they attempt to build without a solid foundation upon which everything they do will rest.

A sane, intelligent and caring POTUS in the White House is the foundation for any successful national undertaking. As long as the waste of skin now in the White House---aided and abetted by those in the GOP brothel---continues to spew hatred and nonsense, we not only have no foundation to build on, we have a site manager who claims "the dog ate my blueprints!"

Trump's only concern is putting on a really, really big show as a distraction to everything else he has failed to do. Don't look at the death count, or the number of patients in hospital, or the unemployed, all the business that will close forever, the lack of a national plan, any nationalized logistical coordination to equitably distribute supply.

No, turn your head away from those horrendous stats and watch the newest Trump side show where a fool will entertain everyone with zingers, grievances, lies, disinformation, false promises, wild boasts and unsubstantiated, even laughable, claims of greatness.
