I wonder if Cuomo would accept the AG position if Biden offered it to him. (Original Post) shockey80 May 2020 OP

I’ll take Kamala Harris.
A governor of a state with the largest death toll from Covid-19 is not a resume to be proud of. Delayed response directly leading to thousands of unnecessary deaths. Compare that to the leadership in California.

The rest of New York is doing just as well as California. New York closed down three days after California. There was not a big delay.

New York City and surrounding areas got hit hard because its New York City. Millions of people riding subways, trains ,buses. Thousands of people from around the world arriving everyday. When the virus arrived in New York City there was nothing that could have stopped it except a president who was competent and did not hide the fact that a virus was spreading through out the country back in January.

They have an awesome transit system, with a dense population in large cities. One of the only reasons I can think of is the culture of wearing masks. They wear masks when they are ill, to protect others.
I’ve lived over there and worn a mask when I was sick. It’s not a strange thing to me, like it was in my youth as an exchange student.

when he's needed there? There are plenty of other qualified possibilities for AG: Harris or Klobuchar, if not selected as the running mate, or Sally Yates or Preet Bharara, just to name a few.

could be VP,but since Biden is in a box and have to have a woman that is not to be. I also love his brother.I love that he tells it like it is with Trump and his distraction.I love it that he stays on Trump and his incompetence. When he finish his open argument,;He says"Let,s get at it.I love these brothers and find myself wondering why Governor Cummo did not throw his hat in the ring when we had 20 something candidates and I don't think Biden would have jumped in if he had.

I would love her to take the job, but it's kind of a dead end.

I'd rather she remain as a senator and run for president down the road.

Cuomo is going to finish out his term as governor in 2022 and (I think) run for president in 2024. Biden won't run again and people aren't going to step aside for his VP.

People need to stop throwing out names for AG of people who have presidential aspirations.

It's going to be someone who is a career prosecutor/criminal law expert, like it often is in non Trump admins.

In that position.

It would strike the fear of God into Trump, Barr, and the other criminals.
